Day 1: Arrival in Arusha, Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. You’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Relax and prepare for the exciting safari that lies ahead.

Tanzania Safari: Days 2-5

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart early from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and stunning baobab trees, Tarangire offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting a wide variety of animals including lions, zebras, and buffalo. Overnight at a comfortable lodge or tented camp.

Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a stop at a local Maasai village if time permits. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most unique ecosystems. Spend the day exploring the crater floor, home to an abundance of wildlife including the Big Five. Overnight at a lodge on the crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Drive to Serengeti National Park, the ultimate destination for witnessing the Great Migration (depending on the season). Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the vast plains, spotting herds of wildebeest, zebras, and predators. Overnight at a luxurious tented camp within the Serengeti.Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti’s diverse habitats. The park offers spectacular wildlife viewing, from the migration herds to resident predators and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a bush lunch before continuing your game drive. Return to your camp for the night.

Gorilla Trekking in Uganda: Days 6-10

Day 6: Serengeti to Entebbe, Uganda
After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Entebbe, Uganda. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe. Relax and prepare for your gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 7: Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Take a domestic flight from Entebbe to Kihihi or Kisoro, followed by a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Check into your lodge, nestled in the lush forest. Attend a briefing about the upcoming gorilla trek and spend the night in preparation for your trek.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Set off early for a guided trek into the dense Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This challenging trek can take several hours, but it’s worth every step for the chance to encounter one of the world’s most endangered species. Spend an hour with a family of mountain gorillas, observing their behavior and enjoying their presence. Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 9: Bwindi to Entebbe
After a leisurely breakfast, transfer back to the airstrip for your flight to Entebbe. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the town or relaxing at your hotel. Optionally, visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or the Botanical Gardens if time permits.

Day 10: Departure
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some last-minute time for shopping or relaxation in Entebbe. You’ll be transferred to the airport for your international flight home.

Note:Gorilla trekking permits are subject to availability and should be booked well in advance. The trek can be physically demanding, so a reasonable level of fitness is required. The safari itinerary is flexible and may be adjusted based on seasonal conditions and wildlife movements.
